Our Story begun with an open door...
...A simple act of welcoming passing hikers into a small family summer home in Kalami back in 1989. For Alexandros and Anastasia, that moment left something behind: the wish for it to continue. Driven by this newfound passion, they took their first steps by slowly crafting the original seven rooms of what today is "Villa Natalia". With immense personal effort, devotion, and a whole lot of heart—during an era when travel was in its earliest stages—they eventually completed the building, proudly welcoming guests from neighboring countries who soon felt like family. As the years passed and the founders grew older, the world shifted. An ever-changing landscape, the 2008 economic crisis, and a global pandemic meant that the doors of Villa Natalia had to remain closed for long stretches.
But the soul of the house never faded.
In 2022, the third generation stepped in to turn the page. Fueled by a childhood dream, their grandson and current manager, Kostas, decided to breathe new life into his grandparents' vision. Pouring his own love and dedication into the property, he completely revived Villa Natalia. Today, it stands as an authentic haven of Corfiot hospitality — a place that honors the timeless values of its founders while perfectly adapting to modern standards, offering high aesthetics, contemporary comforts, and the exact same warmth that started it all.

Alekos & Anastasia discover Kalami
The year it all started. Alekos & his wife, Anastasia arrive in Kalami, laying the foundation for a family tradition of genuine hospitality that we proudly continue today.
- 1985
The First Family Home
Their vacation home was completed, and they happily opened their doors to one of the very first passing travelers who wanted rest for a night.
- 1986
A Dream begins to shape
Inspired by those early guests, the concept for "Panorama Rooms to let" took shape, setting our journey in motion.
- 1988
Opening & Welcoming the First Guests
Our first seven dedicated guest rooms were constructed, quickly becoming a favorite resting stop for travellers & hikers.
- 1992
Expanding Our Reach
As demand for our hospitality grew, we proudly added seven more rooms to accommodate our visitors.
- 2005
A Well-Earned Retirement
After years of dedicated hosting, founders Alekos and Anastasia step back to enjoy their retirement.
- 2012
A New Chapter begins.
The property entered a transitional phase, operating under external management for the first time, as Casa Kalami for the next decade.
- 2022
The Birth of Villa Natalia
Aleko's and Anastasia's granson takes the helm. We established Villa Natalia and launched extensive upgrades to modernize our amenities.
- 2023
Introducing the Deluxe Suite
One of our original rooms was completely transformed, creating our very first premium Deluxe Suite.
- 2024
Comprehensive Modernization
We completed a major structural renovation, upgrading all property bathrooms, inslulation to the highest modern standards.
- 2025
Redesigning for Calm Luxury
Four rooms were entirely rebuilt from the ground up, resulting in our most luxurious and modern spaces to date.
- 2026
Continuing the Evolution
Our comprehensive winter renovation project presses forward, completely redesigning four additional rooms, our exterior and upgrading all bed matresses to further elevate the guest experience.

As the grandson of the property's original founders, Kostas bridges a rich family legacy with modern hospitality. Taking the helm to establish Villa Natalia, he brings a deep-rooted passion for Corfu and extensive professional expertise in property management to ensure every guest experiences the absolute highest standard of Mediterranean living.

Operations & Guest Experience
As a dedicated co-host and managing partner, Persefoni ensures that every logistical detail of your stay is effortlessly handled. From coordinating seamless check-ins to providing swift, thoughtful communication, she is committed to delivering a flawless guest experience.
